United Way Public Policy Day

If you didn't make it out to United Way Public Policy Day this past Wednesday, April 6th - you definitely missed out!

We had a blast  at the South Carolina State House. Over all we had about 25 separate appointments with United Way folks from Aiken, Anderson, Colleton County, Florence, Greenville, the Midlands area, Pickens County, Oconee County, Spartanburg, and United Way Association. We also had plenty of the page calls that were done in the lobby and were also  recognized by Representative Alexander and Representative Bowen in the balcony of the House!

Policy Agendas were given out to legislators, talking points were reviewed by United Way folks and a lot of good work was done at the State House on Wednesday.
 
The legislators really appreciated us coming out and are excited to be working with us in the future. We are even more excited about next years Public Policy Day and hope its even better than this years! Thank you to everyone who came out and took part in advocating for a better South Carolina!
